Our ‘Art for All’ event, hosted on November 13 at Capitol Modern in Honolulu, was a smashing success! Community supporters, donors, and program participants came together to view stunning artwork created by those in Easterseals Hawaii’s services across the Islands. With nearly $100,000 raised, the event showed how impactful community is when it comes to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Guests were treated to a moving hula performance by participants in the Adult Program in Honolulu, and celebrated with an appreciation toast led by Easterseals Hawaii’s CEO, Andrea Pettiford, and Board Chair, Danielle Yafuso. Many donors took home exquisite pieces and prints as gifts with their generous donations – a treasure to remember a night honoring the therapeutic power of art and the aloha spirit.

See our feature in MidWeek magazine about this exciting event! You can also check out our media coverage here.

“Your life and mine shall be valued not by what we take, but by what we give.”
– Edgar Allen, founder of Easterseals

Today, we’re thankful to you for being a part of that movement. With over 50 million Americans living with disabilities, our work is far from complete. We encourage you to help us call attention to the experience of people with disabilities, and to raise awareness of and advocate for the services they need to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.
