Chad Asato is Manager, Strategic Development at Hawaiian Electric Company. In this role, as part of Hawaiian Electric’s Corporate Strategy Division (President’s Office), he provides leadership and direction for developing the company’s strategy to position it for long-term value creation and sustainability in service to Hawai’i’s communities and customers.

Prior to Hawaiian Electric, Chad’s diverse experience includes roles with Kamehameha Schools’ Commercial Real Estate Division, L.E.K. Consulting in Boston, and First Hawaiian Bank. He is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, Pacific University, and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Chad’s first introduction to Easterseals Hawaii happened when his son was a recipient of Early Intervention services. He and his ‘ohana are appreciative of the assistance they received and want to give back by continuing to support Easterseals Hawaii and its mission.

In his spare time, Chad enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, surfing, traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with his growing ‘ohana.
