Alex Lim is Director of Strategy & Corporate Sustainability at Hawaiian Electric Industries (HEI). In this role, he supports the HEI family of companies with strategic planning, sustainability programs and reporting, and other priorities.

Alex is originally from Oahu and is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Occidental College. He previously held strategy and business development roles with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Samsung Electronics. Alex spent his professional career based in New York, Boston, Beijing, and Seoul before returning to Hawaii in 2018.

His family was fortunate to receive Early Intervention Services from Easterseals Hawaii, and he is grateful to support the team’s efforts. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and serves on the board of Family Promise of Hawaii.
